Hot Air Balloon Baby Quilt

I made this baby quilt for Aaron's cousin on his Dad's side, Kimberly Clark. This was for her first baby, a boy (but, darn! I can't recall his name!) I also made this in the summer of 2004.

My Nana's Table Runner

I made my Nana this table runner in the summer of 2004. I just wanted to give her something nice. She kept it on her kitchen table until just last year when she and Papa moved to live with my aunt and uncle. They don't have a table of their own anymore, so they left it behind. My sister, Mary, though found it and kept it, saying she'd had her eye on it for a long time. It decorates her table now (which is fine with me, but don't tell Mary).

School Wall Hanging

This wall-hanging was made in the summer of 2004 by Lauri Goecke, Keri Stephenson, Niki Grimsley, Nina Robnett and myself. Lauri made the school, the flag and an apple. Keri made one of the apples. Niki made the school bus and, I think, the little girl, too--she also painted the faces of the buttton faces for the school bus. Nina made the heart and the boy, I think, and embroidered the MCS on it. I put in the sashing, quilted it and bound it. We designed it together and gave it to Moscow Charter School for their silent auction, but the school liked it so much, they hung it behind the secretary's desk instead. It's still there today.

Preschool Raffle Quilt

In April & May of 2004, Lauri Goecke and I got roped into--I mean, voluteered--to make the school quilt for Emmanuel Lutheran Preschool. They have a quilt made every year with all the students' and teachers' handprints on it and then raffle it off to raise money for the school. Dakota was in the 3-year-old class at the time (but he had turned 4 by this time). I didn't win the raffle.
